Super New Moon in Scorpio – Renewed Creativity

By Sibylle Stehli,

November 13, 2020

It is called a Super New Moon because it is the closest in its trajectory to Earth and therefore has a more intense effect than a regular new moon. What this means for us is that anything which is not healed will come up for review and make itself more acutely known. As these aspects come up in our awareness, we have the choice to heal them and move forward with renewed inner empowerment. This leads to authentic creativity and sharing your unique talents.

This is the third Super New Moon in a row. It is the last one in the series of 3 and therefore has a culmination power and energy to it. It peaks on Sunday 15 November 2020 at 07h07 in Cape Town South Africa.

In my previous posts:

  1. The first one, the ‘opener’, occurred on 17 September: Gaining new Traction
  2. The second one, the ‘amplifier’, occurred on 16 October: Balanced Change
  3. And now we have the ‘closer’, occurring on 15 November: Renewed Creativity

This series of 3 has been a build-up from the first one to this one and I trust you have made great use of this time!

Another aspect here is the influence of Scorpio.

Scorpio resembles a scorpion and so, as with all things, there is a positive and negative aspect to it.

On the positive side, the scorpion is about transformation (it sheds its skin) – renewing and rebirthing from that which has been let go of or died. You can start anew; no matter what has happened in the past.

On the negative side, the scorpion has a sting to it. For us it can translate into situations and people which have a hidden ‘sting’ or agenda. At the core of Scorpio is the theme of trust-betrayal-loss. So with this amplified and potent ‘closer’ moon, you may be recalling events in your life where this occurred.

Questions for contemplation:

  • What was the lesson learned at the time?
  • How can you be more aware of this ‘hidden sting’ of broken trust-betrayal-loss, if it is a recurring theme in your life?
  • What if you could heal this cycle and allow the new possibilities to birth themselves from a place of empowerment?

Mindfulness Tip – Conscious Choice vs Default Setting

Remember to set your intention / choice / wish for some extra magic and sparkle.

This is important as you have free will in each moment. So choosing consciously what you would like this moon cycle to bring you will allow things to align, come into harmony and synchronize with what you choose...

The Numerology of this Moon

This moon peaks at 07h07 at 23 degrees and 17 minutes.

07: We have a zero, representing the Zero Point Field where all is created and dis-created. The number 7 for me symbolises magic, miracles and can be lightning-fast manifestation as it looks like a lightning bolt. It also embodies the essence of solitude and contemplation.

23: This is a combination which adds to 5 (change, adventure, freedom and a balance of masculine and feminine aspects). An interesting added aspect here is that the new moon Is dark because it is next to the sun in the sky. The sun’s light does not reflect on the moon’s surface as with a full moon. The sun (masculine aspect) and moon (feminine aspect) are next to each other, further enhancing this feeling of balance.

The 2 is about collaboration, partnership and duality - seeing situations from both sides as well as embracing both the dark and the light. .

The 3 embodies the energy of being a catalyst of change. It is also a number of self-expression, which encompasses our innate creativity.

17: This is the energy of the number 1 (leadership, independence, standing tall in our own power and moving forward with new beingness) and the number 7 (see above), adding to 8.

When we embrace all our aspects, stand tall in who we are and open up to the magic and miracles of new beginnings and possibilities, we experience abundance and authentic power which fuels our inner fire and creativity.

What I have experienced since the last post

A new moon signifies a new beginning and, as it is a more intense (super) moon and the ‘closer’ of the trio, it is a hugely significant fresh start.

Realising that each moon phase, be it a full or new moon, embodies the energy and essence of the previous 6 months, it has been a humbling experience for me to do the review of this time.

I have changed so much in 6 months that I do not recognise the person I was in June this year. Being in a challenging situation due to COVID, I made some big choices and decisions and they have been pivotal for where I find myself today. Dreams are coming true on a daily basis and in ways better than I could ever have imagined.

Was it all easy?

Definitely not. I have had tears and frustrations, yet a part of me decided that going through the pain was better than staying where I was in my life. It has taken grit, determination, resilience courage and absolute trust to a level I have never had to go to before.

The rewards?

I now live in happy celebration!

People, situations and opportunities are flooding into my life in the most beautifully surprising ways. I am forever grateful for having embraced my shadows and learned the lessons they have taught me. I am on a continuous upward spiral of joy and am relishing every moment and every blessing every day.

My creative abilities are showing up in many ways and so there is a learning curve ahead with developing them. I am so looking forward to 2021 already. If this is the teaser, then I am so excited for the main events to come 😊

What you may be experiencing at this time:

  • Intense emotions
  • Inner unrest or turbulence as there may be conflicting aspects showing up
  • Memories coming up of instances where you experienced broken trust which led to betrayal and loss
  • Physical challenges in the genital areas – the base chakra may be blocked creating physical pain and delaying manifestations

How you can best help yourself at this time:

  • Remember that your emotions do not define you – they are here to be experienced
  • Find time to rest, relax and contemplate – use the questions above if you wish as a starting point
  • Find ways to heal the cycle of broken trust if this comes up as a theme for you at this time – you are at choice here
  • Be kind to yourself and your body – rest lots, drink lots of water and eat a lighter diet to assist the process of healing

Final Thought

Forgive yourself - remember that you are always being and doing the best that you can with what you have available at the time.

Sending all Love, Light and Compassionate Blessings 😊

Namaste
Sibylle
